1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in the browser. They may enable sessions, protect requests, remember preferences or, where present, measure or profile browsing.
2. Cookies used by DingList
DingList uses first-party technical cookies required for operation and security. Prior consent is not required for these cookies.
| Name | Purpose | Approximate duration |
|---|---|---|
| dinglist_session | Maintains the user session and authentication. | Configured session, normally 120 minutes. |
| XSRF-TOKEN | Protects forms and requests from CSRF attacks. | Session. |
| remember_web_* | Remembers access only when “Remember me” is selected. | Persistent until expiry or logout. |
| sidebar:state | Remembers whether the dashboard sidebar is open or closed. | 7 days. |
The session cookie name may vary depending on the runtime environment configuration.
3. Local storage
The authenticated dashboard also uses browser local storage to save the sidebar state and the light, dark or system theme preference.
These preferences remain in the browser until the user changes them or deletes website data.
4. Profiling and third-party cookies
As of the last update, DingList does not use advertising, profiling or third-party analytics cookies. No consent banner is therefore displayed. If non-technical tools are introduced in future, this notice will be updated and consent will be requested before activation where required.
5. Managing cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking technical cookies may prevent login, compromise form security or make dashboard features unavailable. Local-storage preferences can be removed by deleting website data in the browser.
6. Contact and updates
